Time for a history lesson snowflakes.
Before there was Twitter Roach there was The Truth Hurts. A short lived videocast in which I explained to stupid people why they are stupid. I made an effort to avoid the use of excessive bad language and I look damn sexy. However appearing on film is too much work for me. I always look sexy but I’m not always pretty. To recycle a phrase – I’ve got a face for radio. And I enjoy podcasting more than video. Producing and consuming.
Also notice how this video is done in one take. Cause I don’t need to fucking over-edit everything because I have no speaking skills.
Anywayz – this wisdom shouldn’t be lost to the world. Thus every other week I’m going to feature an episode of The Truth Hurts here on Twitter Roach.
The first episode of The Truth Hurts was inspired by my experience of being around idiots who had lost their jobs and were on unemployment and complained about not having enough money . . . yet still bought coffee at Starbucks and went to restaurants to eat food.
I had no sympathy for the fuckers then and I’ve even less sympathy now. The video and the original show notes are below. Enjoy. Or don’t enjoy. Ask me how many fucks I give.
“Pursuing your passion.” I can’t believe I said that shit with a straight face.

This episode is rated R for: bad language, calling stupid people stupid and shamelessly pimping Larry Winget books.
In the very first episode of The Truth Hurts: Skippy explains a bit about reducing your standard of living – specifically regarding how much money you spend every month on shit you don’t need.
If you want to pursue your passions, or if you just want to get by on unemployment insurance until you find your next cubical job, you are going to have to spend less money than you are spending now. It’s not that hard to do.
