Ya know how “they” (whomever “they” are) say “That which you work the hardest for brings the greatest reward.” Well sometimes it ain’t so.
Sometimes you can work really hard for something and find out it was all a waste of your time.
Yea . . . sad but true. Part of being smart if figuring out how to tell the difference between things worth working for and things you need to walk away from. When you figure out how to do that let me know.
One of my more recent experiences with being “in love” fell into that category. The only thing we have in common is that both of us think she is cute. Dumb people would have “gone for it” and “chased her” and shit like that. But not me.
It’s takes more than love, especially when the love don’t flow both ways. Persuading someone to love you is hard to do. Doubly so when the two of you have nothing in common.
Think about the things you are working hard for in your life – and make sure they are worth working hard for. Sometimes you do have to persevere, and sometimes you need to walk away.
